Activities of Prerak on Disability

PRERAK directly Working with 100 children with special needs,
Under the project ‘Inclusive Development for Children with Disabilities and Youngsters (IDCYD) in Churra block of in 169 villages. The Main focus area of Prerak organization is Children with disabilities in which we seek to assist them in Equal Opportunity for Education, Equal respect in the society and to make them aware of the government schemes. These children have different types of disabilities like Cerebral Palsy, Mental illness, Multiple Disability, Mentally Retired, Orthopedic and visually impaired. According to their need and requirement, all they are receiving various services like physical exercises, physiotherapy services, daily living skills, supportive education, techniques on mobility for visually impaired and orthopedic children in their door step. Apart from that a residential School for 100 children with disabilities is running by the Prerak at Rajim. Along with that our special educators facilitates the students by home visit that are in their homes in the period of lockdown. According to their need and requirement, all they are receiving various services like physical exercises, physiotherapy services, daily living skills, supportive education, techniques on mobility for visually impaired and orthopedic children in their door. The special physiotherapy services are provided by the special educators of Prerak organization through home visit.
